The student is allowed to start a master thesis project when having accomplished 240 hp 

Before a master thesis project is initiated the student and the supervisor must fill out the enrolment form (Eng)  or (Swe) and send to the study counselor to be approved.

An approved master thesis project shall consist of the following parts:

• A written report in Swedish or English with a summary in English.
• A separate summary that can either be in the form of a popular science description or a scientific article.
• A presentation at a public seminar at LTH.
• Opposition at a seminar where another master thesis project is presented.

All parts must be approved before the master thesis project is to receive a pass grade. For more information visit the masters program information from LTH.
