Stefano Sacchetto
I am an industrial PhD student engaged in a collaborative project with LTH, Cirkulär AB (Lund), and Chalmers (Göteborg). My research centers around industrial biotechnologies, specifically focusing on the engineering and utilization of microorganism-based applications for sustainable bioprocesses. I am currently expanding my expertise in microbial strain development for protein production, both recombinant and native, as well as the fermentation of filamentous fungi on complex substrates. I have hands-on experience working with different species of bacteria, yeasts, and filamentous fungi, depending on the specific application. My primary areas of interest include:
